SF’s case put off

he SF’s case of harbouring army deserters was put off for June 21 by Colombo High Court. Sarath Fernando and his Personla Assistant Haripriya de Silva are the accused in the case facing charges under Section 128and 133 of the Penal code for committing mutiny and insubordination by harbouring army deserters. Sri Lanka Tamil Media Alliance (SLTMA) held a commemorative lecture on Thursday at Tamil Sangam, Wellawatte  to pay tribute to Late Aiyathurai Nadesan and Late Dharmeratnam Sivaram.


Journalist Ranath kumarasinghe delivered the key note address. Colombo University visiting lecturer K.Sarveswaren also addressed the meeting.
