President Mahinda Rajapakse and the First Lady Shiranthi Rajapakse who were in South Korea on a four day official visit returned to Sri Lanka yesterday.
During the visit, President Rajapakse held summit talks with South Korean President Lee Myung –Bak on bilateral and current issues. Following the talks, three agreements were inked between both countries to enhance ties and for co-operation in the fields of economic, infra structure and electricity and power.
President Rajapakse addressed the Korean business men at a forum hosted by Business Chamber of Commerce and invited them to visit, invest and be partners in their march to progress.

Several protests were held in different parts of the country on Friday, April 27, protesting against the proposed relocation of the Dambulle Mosque. Special prayers were also held in all the mosques in the country.
