Pope Benedict’s 85th birthday

Pope Benedict XVI celebrated his 85th birth day in Vatican on Monday. He delivered a homily during the celebrations held at St. Peter’s Square His elder brother Monsignor Georg Ratguger joined him during the celebration at which thousands of people attended and a musical band from his native land played.

“ I am facing the final leg of the part of my life. I do not know what is ahead. I know that God’s light is there and His light is stronger than every darkness.”, Pope Benedict said in his homily.
