A controversy has arisen over depicting Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as Lord Krishna.
There have been demands for apology. Allegations have been made that the advertisement in question hurts the religious sentiments of the Hindus.
The advertisement is for the promotion of Kishan yatra. The advertisements appearing in vernacular dailies showed the battle field of Kurushetra in the background and Modi was depicted as Lord Krishna giving sermons.
