Veteran educationists honored in Trincomalee

Nine veteran educationists who have rendered immense services to the upliftment of education among poor and needy children were honored at an event held in Trincomalee Sri Vigneswara Maha Vidiyalayam auditorium. This event was organized by the Trincomalee Maanavar Oli Education Development Center (TMOEDC). P. Thavasithan who authored 56 text books on Physics in Tamil language is the President of the TMOEDC.

The honored educationists were Suntharam Divakalala, former Trincomalee district parliamentarian and former Assistant Director of Education K.Thurairatnasingham, retired Assistant Directors of Education S.Kanagasabai and S.Vipunasekaram, retired Principals  N.Rajanathan, M.Sunthararajah. K.Sithtiravelautham, K.Jeyanathan and N.Sathiyamoorthy.
