Duke of Edinburgh was taken ill and hospitalized yesterday. He turned 92 on Sunday. He was hale and hearty when he joined the Queen as she boarded the Royal Pageant Barge in River Thames at the commencement of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations this week.
He missed the Concert held as part of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in UK. He is admitted to King Edward VII Hospital in London for treatment of a bladder illness as a precautionary measure. He will be under observation for a few days, reports say.
