Colombo District Judge Dhammika Ganepola has issued an enjoining order restraining the United National party from conducting an inquiry into the conduct of Western UNP Provincial Councilor Sri kamal Perera.
He was charge sheeted by the Disciplinary Committee headed by Tilak Maarpona, PC allegedly for bringing disrepute to the party by making public statements about the party and the Chief Opposition Whip John Amaratunge. Counsel Thusith Wijegunawardena supported the application before Court.
