Tamil National Alliance held talks with the visiting Parliamentarians from the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha led by Opposition Leader Sushma Swaraj. The meeting took place at Taj Samudra Hotel. TNA delegation was led by R.Sampanthan.
TNA leader Sampanthan told the media after attending the talks that they had discussed a gamut of issues affecting the Tamil people. The main issue raised was the political solution. India believes that a political solution is possible through dialogue and so does the TNA. But, there must be determination on both sides. We have demonstrated our determination. But, the government has yet to do that.
