Pakistan PM refuses to quit after conviction

Pakistan Prime Minister Seyed Yusuf Raza Gilani has refused to quit the post even after being convicted by Supreme Court for contempt of Court. Ranil visits Jaffna islets

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe and his entourage visited islets such as Neduntheewu, Ninatheewu etc on Sunday. He invited the people to participate in the May Day rally in Jaffna. UNP General Secretary Tissa Attanayake, Parliamentarians Vijayakala Maheshwaran and Ravi Karunaanyake also accompanied the Leader.
