CPA delegation calls on PM

A high powered delegation of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Delegation led by President Sir Alan Gordon Hasslethrust called on Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne and held discussions.

The discussions among other matters focused on the holding of the 58th annual sessions in Sri Lanka from September 7 to 15. 1000 delegates are expected to participate.

General Secretary William Shrija and Assistant Director Tina Christine were also among the delegates. PM’s Secretary S.Amarasekara was also present.
