Nawam Perehara concludes

The Nawam Perahera of the Hunupitiya Gangaramaya Temple, which commenced on Monday concluded on Tuesday.

Thousands of traditional drummers, dancers, monks and some 50 elephants participated at the two-day annual Buddhist procession.

The procession was first held in 1979.
