Joint Plan for Assistance NP launched

The Joint Plan for the Northern Province Assistance was launched recently in the presence of the Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapakse. The objective of the project is to enable the people to recover from their tragedy, rebuild their families and sustain.

It is implemented by the Government of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the UN and Boarder Humanitarian Commission.  UN Resident envoy Subinay Nandi and Secretary of the Presidential Task Force S.Diviratne also addressed.
