Sharma on simplification of Indian visa


Indian Union Minister of Commerce Anand Sharma has stated that both countries will consider a draft for simplification of Indian visa. He was addressing the Indian media at India House. Indian High Commissioner Ashok Khantha was also present.


He further stated that the procedures of issuing visas on the part of India will be attended to. Elimination of any delay in customs clearance will also be considered. He added that during the one and a half hour discussion he felt that   President Mahinda Rajapakse was on the same page. He had express willingness to visit Delhi and that he would convey it to Prime Minister Dr.Manmohan Singh.
