Indian Supreme Court ordered that the 122 2G licenses granted during the tenure of former Telecom Minister A.Rajah be canceled and declared it illegal.

 

It held that Government’s policy of first come first served was flawed. ‘ National resources should always be used in the interest of the country and not private interest.’, Court held.


The order was made by two Judge Bench comprising Justice G.S. Singhvi and Justice A.K.Ganguly.
