Top US officials call on Defence Secretary

The two top US officials, Otera, US Under Secretary fir Civilian Security for Democracy and Human Rights, and Robert O Blake, the Assistant Secretary South and Central Asia, called on Defence and Urban Development Secretary Gota Bhaya yesterday.

They were accompanied by the US Ambassador in Sri Lanka Patricia Butenis. During the courtesy call, they held discussions on a wide range of issues.
