Sewing machines for Mullaithevu IDP‘s

All Ceylon Hindu Congress donated sewing machines to internally displaced people from Mullaithevu District recently at Nallai Atheenam, Jaffna. The sewing machine’s were sponsored by Colombo Saiva Munnetra Sangam.

Sirilasiri Somasundara Thesiga Gnanasambanda Paramasariya Swamigal , ACHC Social Wing Leader S.Dhanabalaa, London Saiva Hindu congress trustee S.Balasingam, London Saiva Hindu Congress member C.Chithamparapillai, London Saiva Hindu Congress member I.T.Sampanthan and several others participated.

ACHC has been donating sewing machines to IDP’s as part of their sewing machine project to empower women and IDP’s. They have donated more than 25 sewing machines so far.
